Réal Landry of Moncton (formerly of Memramcook East) passed away on November 12, 2009 at the Dr. George L. Dumont Hospital at the age of 73. Born on February 10, 1936 in St-Joseph, he was the son of the late Aurèle Landry and the late Alice Landry.
 He worked as a telephone technician for NBTel until his retirement. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus of Memramcook East, Golden Age Club of Memramcook, Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes church choir and Aliant Pioneer and was an avid golfer and bowler and loved playing cards.
He is survived by his wife Gérène (Girouard) Landry, one daughter Janice Landry of Moncton, one son, Marc (Kelly) Landry of Dieppe, one sister, Jeannette (Léopold) Léger of Moncton, one uncle Réginald Landry of Moncton, one sister-in-law Wilma Landry of Moncton, two grandchildren Valérie and Bradley and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother Léonard.
Visitations will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home and the Funeral Mass will be held at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook East on Saturday November 14 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
